Default Wheel bearing made all that roaring sound, not the tires

I've been complaining on this board about my noisy tires for while. Well, it turns out that all that time the noise was coming from the wheel bearing. As soon as I replaced the bearing, the noise went away. I can actually hear my engine now! I was ready to sell my tires - imagine that, the noise would have remained with the new tires.

Speaking of tires, the wheel has a small bend in it that was allowing air to slowly leak out. Can a bend in an aluminum wheel be hammered back into place? The tire store put some sealant in there for now.

Default SEALANT? just get the wheel fixed.... or replace it.

you start hammering on that thing and you're likely to make matters worse. perhaps dangerous if you cause a crack to form.
