Default Wheel Spacers for Stock 17" 5 Spoke wheels

I did a quick search and couldn't find any solid answers.

My question is what spacers thickness sizes will I need to flush out my Factory 225TT 17" 5 spoke wheels?
Is it 15mm front and 20mm back? or 20mm front and 25 back? Somebody please help.

Also Best place to get the wheels spacers from?
What length studs to buy, and where?

Thanks Guys

Derek

It Pushes the wheels out to be flush with the side of the body instead of inset. Much Cleaner look.

Default Buy them from parts4vws.com. Great prices and great customer service.

I went with 8mm and 15mm.

It was a little conservative, but it was exactly what I was looking for.

Sorry, I don't have pics of it with the stock wheels on, but these show almost exactly where the stock wheels sat:

Default Because the wheel bolts to the spacer which bolts to the hub...

It adds even more stress than a normal 20mm spacer would with long lugs. Generally speaking, 20mm is the safe alternative just because of that factor. I'm no expert, I've just been warned about it before.

Default Stress...

on the bolts, stress on the wheel bearings, change in turn circle, etc. All safety issues.

To say nothing about getting paint chips from stones from tires being too far outboard.

But go ahead and look good if you think having wheels flush to the outside of the fender openings is looking good. It is your life...
