Default Wheel weight

Does anyone know the weight of the stock 17" forged wheel on the 2001 TT Roadster? I plan to replace mine, but don't want to add unsprung weight unnecessarily. Thanks for your help. Please e-mail reply to paul.caldwell@paragonrehab.com

I've got the 5-spoke, which are 17" and came standard on the 2001 225hp roadster. Thanks.

22.5-23 lbs. They were part of the Premium package last year. Never standard.

Thank you very much...sorry for the confusion. You are absolutely correct that they were in the premium package. I appreciate your help.

Default Your welcome. Although they were not standard, many TT's came with the Premium package.

The '02 models don't have the Premium package, and you need to order the 5 spoke wheels seperately. I've only weighed my rims w/the tires, and at 1300mi. they weigh 45.5-45.75lbs.
Alot of numbers have been thrown out there, from 21 to 23lbs, so I'm sure that's a good approximation of weight. Good luck in finding a wheel that's right for you, and stop by here often, the members of this board are generally very helpful and knowedgeable.
