Default When dealer programmed fob for one touch lock and 15mph roof would work. (long rant)

Just got back from my dealer for adjusting the alarm sensitivity (4 a.m. Friday was the last straw), I asked them to reprogram the fob for one touch unlock of both doors and auto lock at 15mph. When I got it back he said the codes he has caused the roof not to work. Any one know these correct codes?

Also, the interior motion sensor didn't seem to be working according to the instructions in the manual...well, it turns out that you have to open the drivers door to turn it on...which is not specified in the manual. You need to open the drivers door then hit the button, then lock the car but nowhere in the manual does it say "Open the door, then hit the button."

I also had my compartment between the seats lock. First it would not stay closed, then it wouldn't open. They had to break into it and now they have a new door/mechanism on order.

And if you can stand one more rant, my tonneau cover has not fit properly from day one. It doesn clip in at the doors. I'll wait for the 5000 mile check as they took me without an appointment today to adjust the alarm and I hit them with a list of five other things.

But, its only little annoying things. I love my car and am glad that I haven't had any major problems in 2350 miles.

Default Can help with the tonneau cover install (more0

I had the same problem.. I could get it to latch on one side or the other but not both. Service advisor showed me the trick.

When installing if it does not catch push down on it with moderate pressure then pull directly outward, this should allow the catch to engage. it works for me. I found that I can ussually get one side to fit with no problem and the other side will need to be pulled out for it to catch..Hope this helps

What roof? What car??? AFAIK, the TT has no sunroof, coz the roof is too curved.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. My Service Advisor was stumped.

Default Code reset

I had the door locks and fob reprogramed and ended up with same roof problem. I returned to the dealer and they corrected problem. The value should be 15996, not 15932 or 64. Once done, roof works, doors lock at 15mph, and key fob controls windows.

Default Thanks. On 5000 mile check, I'll bring the codes although service advisor "advised" me that

the window control of fob is "unsafe." I like to live on the edge

Do you have a control number for not locking doors at 15mph? Husband is complaining already and it hasn't even been done yet.
