Default 60k here...

Car's going in for 60k service next Wednesday. I'll have them check it out... and also check out why my brakes are howling so much. All of a sudden the brakes went from quiet to hardcore rubbing... if I end up needing new pads, I think I'll have them toss on Mintek reds (or greens) I don't know the difference.

Default Ever changed the plugs? Do you run the tank all the way down to empty?

Probably gonna have to do a timing belt soon!

Default both the GTI and the TT did this, mostly with the AC on

every few seconds it would vibrate... not badly but enough to notice

Default I'd think if the vibrating is REALLY bad then yes.. otherwise I figured its normal 4cyl. stuff

like I said... mines very slight... the steering wheel will start to vibrate up and down a bit and you can hear a change in the idle.. but thats about it.

Default had the same problem with a putter now and then on the z3

turned out to be cracked around the spark plug socket, which proved why new spark plugs wouldn't solve the issue
