When posting a message /w picture click on "Post Picture" and then on "Upload a New Picture".
Type in the file name of the picture or click on "Browse" and navigate your PC/disk to the picture you want to upload. Select the picture and click on "Upload". Copy the link it gives you to the clipboard and past it on the message screen "Optional Image URL" line. Hope this helps.
