I have been putting this off for so long, I just unplugged it and let it be. It's a 2001 225hp... Thanks guys!

search this part number:
06A906461EX
I believe that is correct, wait for someone else to verify that, but that was correct for my 2003 225.

Default I don't think teh "L" version is correct..

Last time I researched that for someone it was the MAF for one of the 180's I believe. The 461EX that Bob linked to is correct though..

Impex has it listed for the AMU. I am inclined to take your advice though.

I keep having a thought that there was a thread a while back about the 2.0 unit working. However, I may be having a flashback of some sort too.
