It is ok, but since my car is so low I have to drive up on a 2x6 and then put the jack under. Plus the jack only raises it to the lowest setting on my jack stands. Any thoughts. I really want to get my car up high enough so that I can be under it without any problems.

Default Geez, Tom, *most* people here don't have your particular problem.

so a *normal* floor jack, with *normal* jacking characteristics will work on *normal* cars.

you just had to go and be different, huh?

Try griot's garage

geez, it's only $389.00

Default There's a VERY low and cool aluminum jack out there

it's from US General i think. if you do a Google search for Aluminum jack, or race jack it'll come up. sorry this is so vague, my work computer doesn't let us use engines. it's about $125 and very cool. By Design uses them all the time on slammed 993s

Default Tom: I have the Craftsman model 875 505230 which works for me and you've seen my car.

I have to replace the plastic body pan--again.
