where to find GOOD tire gauge???
#31
Not exactly the best all-around choice
... as mine froze to death in Minn last T'giving.
Yep, couldn't believe it either. Bought it about a month before the trip; worked fine until I parked the car for a couple of days. Went to the local Fill'n'Swill to gas up and press on back to DC, and the @*Y#(@#^^!@&!! thing wouldn't work. Fortunately, the place had one of those nasty slider-type ones, so I was good to go until I reached civilization and bought one of the Brookstone dial gauges.
Moral of the story--most toys work fine under "typical" conditions, but extreme climates sometimes favor different kinds. Just my $.02; YMMV. Cheers!
