Where to put an AMP?

You can put an amp where the First Aid kit is, but only a certain sized amp will work there and you will need to ventilate it if the amp does not have a fan. You can also remove the rear seats and build up a platform and place the amp under here.
I will have some pics for solution #2 in a few days. Jenner had an amp bolted to the "wall" behind the drivers seat, but I don't think this is a very practical solution as it limits seat travel.
You can have an amp bolted to the back of one of the rear seats, but this limits your storage as you can't really stack things on an amp even with the seats folded down.
The only other solution is to lose some space in the hatch area and have a box of some sort built.

behind the first aid kit. I've never had a thermal shutdown.
There's another AudiWorld member who saw my site and mounted his amp in the same location without any problems. There's a lot of airspace back there.
The Basslink is one option. Keep in mind that the most amps these days come with speaker-level and low-level inputs, and that all amps must 1) have 12v power, 2) be grounded to the chassis. You could trump the Basslink's performance with a small D-class momo amp (small footprint) and a sub with a low cubic volume requirement (small enclosure). In essence, create your own (better) Basslink.

My objective is to add a little more bass to fill things out, with easy removal for when I need some more space.
