As mentioned I am working on converting my car to a 2+1 seating configuration.
My plans call for removing the bench rear seat and replacing the passenger side rear bottom with a single seat size match. I intend to remove the seat back from behind the driver and fabricating an enclosure that is flush with the cargo area and aligns with the remaining rear seat back when that back is in the down position. I am investigating the possibility of fitting an Infinity Basslink within that new space with the grill of the sub centered as near as possible in the new horizontal area. I want to make up a dummy of the basslink for fitment purposes. (hate to buy it if it doesn't work)
It seems that matching the leather is easier than matching fabric so the material for that area as well as a new insert for the back of the remaining seat back may be covered in leather. I am designing runners that will take the pressure of luggage off of the leather and make that solution practical.
I am very excited by the modification and hope to have it in place by TT East. If anyone has any info on sources for matching carpet or fabric please get it to me. Thanks, and feel free to give me any input.

I think his interior is a different color (i am ebony) also he found carpet not fabric and I will need a material that can back the seat that is left. Also the cost of sub, cabinet, amp, blah, blah has me worried. I figured for two bills +/-, buy one and not worry about "leakprook" enclosure. What do ya think?
