living by the water the fogs work great!
lots of of alog the ocean, always use them. During the day I like how they look. Never had anyone flash their lights at me to turn them off.

The xenons are so powerful I find that they are blinding in the fog... IMO. ;)
And I can say that the half dozen times I have used the fogs (at night) I will get 2-3 people flash me thinking that I have the high beams on since the xenons are just that bright. Though I must admit it is kinda fun (in a sadistic sort of way) to NUKE them back with the high beams. LOL!
And maybe it's just us damn country folk, you city folk are used to being blinded by bright lights.

maybe it is because I had my lights adjusted . . .
when I lowered the car. Every TT I have seen alays has at least one light out of alignent, maybe yours are out of align? The self leveling is only as good as the starting point.

Agreed.silly looking
Daytime running lights could be a deal breaker on a car for me I dislike them so much. I also don't get all the folks who drive around with their fogs on all the time at night. *shrug*

Tsk, tsk Larry! The lights are SUPPOSED to be at different heights!
As per Euro reg (<--methinks?), the driver side light is lowered (or maybe even partially shielded) to prevent blinding the oncoming driver(s). That's why the lights have a "staggered" pattern to them, the drivers' side is always lower than the passenger side. Put any late model Audi close to a wall at night with the headlights on, you'll see it. My brother's A4 is staggered, in fact the stagger is more defined and it's much more obvious with his car than mine.

Never knew that . . .
I had mine adjusted because lowering put the lights too low for me. They raised them up to the proper height.
Never heard of the lights being adjusted different left to right on purpose! Screw the oncoming drivers! I want to be able to see BETTER from the drivers headlight than the passenger headlight. Does not make any sense from a DRIVERS point of view, only an oncoming traffic point of view.

Whenever I see fogs on when it's not foggy, I think "look at the moron"...
Either that or I sarcastically comment to my wife about how foggy it is outside...
If you drive with your fogs on when it's not foggy you IMHO look like a clueless driver who thinks it makes their Grand Am look sporty somehow...
