Who else has had fuel leaks....

I'm currently trying to put together some info on others who have experienced the fuel leak problems that are caused by faulty fuel sending units. Please contact me at mtbracr1@aol.com. Thanks,

I did. They replaced my entire gas tank in the process.

I did, They replaced the seal on the fuel sending unit. >>

Then I had to take it back a month later and have the sending units replaced because my fuel gauge read full all the time.

bad sensor replaced, dealer completely F'ed the re-install and the car dumped about 2 gallons of gas outside a Mexican resturant... damn, I should have gotten a picture of the flatbed that came to rescue the car. And boy did it STINK of gas, lucky I could leave the top down for a couple days to clear that out.

April 2001...
