Who makes a dual-tip exhaust for the 180TTQ? Or will a 225 version fit?
#2
I just bought a 225 exhaust, sounds like all you need is a cupler
since the pipe is diffrence sizes, should be nothing big at all. Otherwise check out Borla (http://www.borla.com) they have a dual tip for around $700+ and there are about 3-5 other ones, ranging from $700-$1400

I fitted a 225 exhaust to my 180...................
You will need a sleeve to join the larger 225 exhaust to the smaller bore existing pipe.
I also had to cut some pipe off the 225 exhaust (about 3 inches) to make it fit.
The 225 also has a hanger in a diferent place, that just needs bent to match.

How about cutting off the resonator?
Do you think this can be done by myself/with a friend? Although I do not know how to weld, so that would probibly not work so well, how/where did you get the sleeve?- approx. cost?
Do you have it professionally installed? How much was it if you did?

Tom... get a pro to do this for you, welding required...
better to save up a few bucks to do it right, rather then go the cheap way and end up with something unusable. Just some friendly advice.

Re: How about cutting off the resonator?
I got the sleeve with the exhaust, which I bought from a company that fits aftermarket exhausts to new cars, then sells off the brand new 225 ones.
I fitted it myself, as I'm a mechanic to trade, but really it's no brain surgery.
Just remember to use plenty of WD40 on the oem clamp bolts, and wear earmuffs, as they squeek like hell.
Also put some Wd on the hanger rubbers to make them easier to slide off.
I can't remember the diameter of the 225 pipe, but can measure the old 180 pipe for you, if you want
