Whooshing noise when I let off the gas........

I did a search and from all the posts I found, sounds like a loose/off hose. Checked everything and it all looks good. Any other suggestions. TIA!!!!!!!

Sounds like a dv to me........

doing its job. When you let off the gas, your dv is in a vacuum state. allowing the air to bypass the turbo and goto the intercooler inlet pipe.

Didn't have this noise before yesterday......

and I've lost quite abit of boost. Noticed she didn't have the pull she had before.

Are you Audi Assured?

If so, they should replace the DV for you. I would start with that since it is the easiest item to eliminate (assuming you check all the hoses first).

in last week to have the MAF replaced.

Pain the butt when these things follow each other so closely :-/

Get yourself a nice new DV from AWE/Forge and put the stock one back in when you go for your next oil change. Tell them about it then and have them replace it for you. Switch out again when you get home and keep the stock one on your shelf as a spare. Worked for me :-)
