Why did you buy a Audi TT over a Porsche Boxster? I have my reasons. Whats yours?

Why did you buy a Audi TT over a Porsche Boxster? I have my reasons. Whats yours?

1.Nothing looks like a TT. Period!
2. The TT's fit and finish is better than any Porsche I have ever owned.
3. Finest interior in the game. Nothings fake(Aluminum is real machined aluminum, Leather is real leather, etc..)
4.quattro,quattro, quattro.
5.Roadsters glass window and beautiful hoops.
6. Porsche SUV? What the hell? YUCK
I was looking between A Boxster S and a 225TTR. Money has nothing to do with why I bought the TTR.
Dont tell Audi but, I would have paid more to get the TTR.

low-end Porsches are like house brand coffee... getting the real deal feels better.
of course, the Boxster wasn't even available when I bougth my TT, but that's beside the point. I still wouldn't have purchased one.

I like to pay a lot to be treated like ****... And I find my relationship w/ AoA VERY satisfying!
there's a whole sub-culture/club scene dedicated to such lifestyles in NYC and London, you know - Audi is of course the car maker of choice for the "pain is pleasure" crowd. :-p
j/k - mostly b/c it looks about a billion times better (the fit n' finish of boxsters is VERY shoddy and there's not enough differentiation in their product line) and it has quattro. Given the willingness ( and ability) to spend ~$80k, I WOULD buy a 996 C4 Coupe, though.

three reasons.
1. Not a Porsche-kinda gurl (this is currently being worked on - lol)
2. Didn't like the styling of the Boxster at all.
3. Less expensive, way better looking.
oh and........
I didn't want a roadster... and although i didn't know how MUCH i'd appreciate it later, quattro. Besides... I'd drooled over the TT since the design first leaked out, it was that or nothing really.
