My friend said "The bigger the IC the bigger the lag create." Is that true?

Default Generally that is true. Larger intercoolers have a larger pressure drop, although
of the front mount intercoolers that I have tried on my car the difference is hardly noticable.

Default theory is fine, but other issues are also at work...
ie., cooler charge and the addition of samco hoses (or ideally hard piping) minimizes and negates any small additional lag. :-)

My sister's friend's cousin says that the stock dual ICs are inherently laggy to begin with.
