but my last intercooler that was made by HKS had a different internal fin design which worked differently at decreasing air temperatures than the Spearco unit. It was smaller though (thickness of 2 inches) compared to your 3.5" core and the pressure drop was less but the flow was also less. I agree that there are variables, but when comparing a similar core, a larger core will have more of a pressure drop. Intercoolers with higher flow rates seem to support high horsepower applications also. One good thing about the 225TT is that the factory dual intercooler design isn't optimal, which helps to make upgrading to a larger front mount intercooler with a shorter 'overall' flow path virtually unnoticeable.<ul><li><a href="http://www.turboneticsinc.com/air.html">http://www.turboneticsinc.com/air.html</a</li></ul>
