I know, I know I should drive the TT, but it's a long story . . .

Default Are you talking a tow dolly?

Do you have FWD or Q? If FWD, then NO, if Q, then you need a FULL trailer.

You can ruin the Quattro if dragged behind. This should be under how to tow the car in the manual.<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=3285"><img SRC="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/ttsig.jpg" BORDER=0 alt="Click for Mods"></a>

Default It's a full trailer that you put the car on. I have a 180 FWD roadster.

I have never used one of these trailers before - just wondering if it could hurt my car somehow. . . .

Default Putting a car on a trailer will NOT hurt the car in anyway, so longas you strap it down properly.

I had towed a race car for 4+ years without a problem.

Just make sure U-Haul shows you the proper way to strap a car to a trailer. You will need to also ask your Audi dealer where 4 safe points are on the car to attach straps to. You don't want to just hook onto the suspension, unless you are going to use the proper straps.

Also, make sure you cross the safety chains, and not just place them left-left, right-right onto the hitch from the trailer. This is VERY important. The safety chains are their if the trailer were to pop off the hitch. The chains are to support the trailer until you can stop safely, otherwise the tongue from the trailer will drag on the ground. This is the biggest mistake people make while towing a trailer!<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=3285"><img SRC="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/ttsig.jpg" BORDER=0 alt="Click for Mods"></a>
