Default The wind cries ALLROAD........

Damn classifieds - found a 2001 Allroad - Atlas with platinum/black interior for a great price locally with low miles - really low miles. The question is - can we get $20k for our A4 Avant with 51k on it. It's in great shape - will be getting new Bilsteins in a couple weeks. Paint is so so - but I can get the bumper and hood repainted for $500 which will help resale considerably.

After our most recent camping trip - we need more room - especially with Marley our pup coming with us. The Allroad is exactly what we've wanted. Hmmm decisions decisions.

Default sorry to say, but the B5 A4 market has really hit the dumps lately...

noticed it when the B6 was soon to arrive in the States. lotta 2000 and 2001 A4's were going for low 20k and thats with lower miles too..

good luck...allroad would be coooool

Default 3 weeks and virtually no interest in our '99 A4 Avant 2.8QT

The dealer wouldn't cut us a break on an early lease turn in when we bought the S4 (2 payments / 3 months left) so we figured we'd try to sell it on our own and have had almost no interest (we'd part with it for app. $22/23k with 32k miles). I was very surprised they wouldn't cut us a break because the dealer had no B5 A4 Avants on the used car lot and Paul Miller is either the largest or 2nd largest dealer in the country (but then again, they knew we really wanted the S4).

I'll admit we haven't worked to hard to sell it knowing the carrying cost is just the insurance and borrowing rate and that we can turn it in whenever we want (which might be tommorrow).

Default That's my biggest concern - however it is a 1.8T :-), seriously though

i'll put it up for sale and see what we can get. I also have no problem keeping it for a while either, but this Allroad is what I would have ordered if I would have bought it new - exactly the color combo and options I would have gotten and the price is under low blue book so......
