windshield stone chips

I just received, courtesy some d*** SUV, a star-stone chip on the windshield. Anyone with experience on repair/replacement?

I've got a bazillion chips, and three stars. The third cracked the windshield >>>

I'll replace it in the spring, or when it leaks... :-(
