I raced sailboards after that competing at the nationals in San Fran in 90-91. Competing has helped me gain confidence in many aspects of my life.

Wiseco 600kit, Kerker pipe. Next year I will take it to PIR because 20 year old machines are legal vintage machines. Bike is very clean and will be part of my permanent stable.
I also have one of the very few heavily modified Honda 400F Super Sports with Carillo Rods and Yoshima parts. The image above is 1981 prior to a second incarnation which includes full frame bracing and Hurricane wheels and front fork/brakes. This engine would smoke stock 750 Hondas down the straights at Bridgehampton. It handled poorly though with that much engine and no frame or suspension mods. While I would normally get the holeshot I'de get passed because of the handling. I also mis-shifted the engine at it's 13,500 redline and it dropped a valve at 15k ending that season.

It's my 1971 Honda 500 with 550 cylinders bored to 562cc with balanced and polished bottom end, CB650 cam, 5 angle CNC valve job, ported intake and exhaust, CB750K2 carbs, undercut trans gears, Yosh pipe, Sun rims, heavy gauge stainless spokes, and so on. It is very light and it might even give your bike a run for it's money, although I doubt it. JIM
