The wonders of Claybar....(longish)

This stuff rocks.
I had overspray on my wheels and other parts of the car after getting some body work done about 6 months ago. It was driving me crazy everytime I washed the car.
I tried paint cleaners, polishes and waxes but the over spray just would not come off. It didn't look that bad, but you could feel it when running your hand or a towel over the affect areas. It felt gritty and would grab the towel's fibers.
I finally got around to trying the claybar on the affected areas, and it all came out. The results on the wheels were awesome. Now my wheels look perfect again and feel smooth as ever. Before clay barring, the wheels looked like they had a layer of brake dust. They also felt gritty even after a thorough cleaning.
The parts of the car now feel smooth again, but at certain angles, you can see the over spray. I think I waited too long.
I used the poly clay bar that came with the Meguiar's Show Car Polish kit along with the Final Inspection Quick Detailer as the lubricant. It took a little patience and some work, but I am happy w/ the results.
