Any impression that your overall performance has improved with the pump/sensors replaced?

Default Massive performance improvement with the new fuel pump

I think it had been trailing off for awhile and finally got bad enough that it wasn't delivering enough fuel for moderate levels of boost. Lots of misfires and other badness. I don't think it had too much life left in it.

Default Misfires would be a good indicator I would say...

I'm coming up on 110k so I wondered if there wasn't anything I could add to the maintenance that'd keep it at peak performance. Guess I'll just put it on the to-do list.

Default I had changed the coilpacks thinking that was the problem and it didn't change anything

spark plugs all looked very white. Would have been difficult to diagnose if the pump itself didn't start making some pretty nasty groaning type noises.

Where'd you source your fuel pump from?

Default I don't remember where I got it from, I've been using a bunch of suppliers lately

Was one of either genuinevwaudiparts.com, worldimpex.com or parts4vws.com.

Default How much did your new windshield cost?

Been thinking about replacing mine. 138k miles has a tendency to cause pitting.

Should be the same for any coupe, took about 30 minutes. It's in the FAQ
