You can do the TBA with a Vag-com...
But you can also do it by leaving your driver door open, turning the key to the 'On' position, don't start the engine, just let the car sit for about 5 minutes...don't touch the gas pedal. TBA done!
As far as the fuel maps, my method is to disconnect the battery for 15 minutes. Reattach the battery and drive as you will.
