World came crashing down today (long rant)>>
As many of you know, I've been dreaming of going to TT-East to meet everybody and have a blast. All of you who have responded to help decide whether to mod or go to TTE - Thank You. I made up my mind - East Baby!
Talked things over with HER again... She's known for quite a while that I have been toying with the idea of going and that she was included in the plans. Somehow, she neglected to include me in or inform me of her plans when she decided she's going to England to visit friends and sightsee in May. And no, the plane ticket is non-refundable (believe me, I checked right away).
So there goes the money. I should have never put my tax returns in the joint account. I am so pissed right now i can't see straight. Now I cannot afford to go to TTE OR mod because she is a selfish bitch and doesn't give a rat's *** about what I want to do and what makes me happy. I give up all sorts of things so that we have money to do things that make her happy. So what does she do? Goes to England (which I have never been to) without me. I stopped going to the gym to save money. So what does she start doing? Tanning. The amount of money she pisses away on tanning is more than what it costs for me to have a gym membership.
I cannot believe she did this. What the hell can I do? No mods for a very long time and no TTE. What a horrible day this has turned out to be. Sorry for the rant everybody. I'm at my wit's end.

cancel the flight, apply the balance to a ticket for two at a time that suits both of you...
and put her on the corner to make up the money needed for TTE. (j/k)
Bummer, sounds worse than a issue about TTE or England.

it sounds like there are bigger underlying problems. I've been through this, it's pretty tough unless you can just cut bait and split. Good luck.

Sounds like a major relationship issue. If you don't mesh financially, find a new one.
This isn't about money. It's about communication and respect for others.
Sounds like you were also a bit vague on this. You didn't tell her you were buying a non-refundable ticket?
