I sent an e-mail as well to David because I decided I wanted a response...

Instead I got an immediate, helpful reply back from Nigel. He described the differences between the old and new exhaust and we determined that I do indeed have a fixed exhaust. Now just to figure out why there are still fitment issues that are the same as the old exhaust...
