Default Chris, feel free to mention the way AoA and Deal Motors handled my "problem"

in front of so many TT owners (of which you were one). I don't know if that will help but it's worth a shot. I'll get you the name of the regional manager I dealt with (tomorrow).

Default Don't tell me this! After going to Tischer the past 3 years...

...I have my 1st appointment at Rockville tomorrow. Maybe I'll skip it and just let the "check engine" light stay on for a few more weeks until there's an open spot at Tischer. Thanks for the warning!

Some have had great luck with them. It's freaky.

Default That's what I'm doing

There are plenty of dealers in the area. I've had problems with several.

(Specific dealers noted for Boston area folks)

At Brookline Audi, something got stolen out of the car.

At Pass & Weisz, they left big unrinsed soap swirls on the car. Thanks for washing it. They also gave me a hassle when I went in to get the oil topped up one time.

I have heard mixed things about Clair. I'm going to try Ira next. If I have to go out to Bernardi, or down to Providence (can't remember the dealer's name), then I will. The "free" maintenance is useless if it isn't any good.

Default Jazzi...I have the same problem as you...it seems to be

a reoccuring leak of oil into my coolant...probably from the oil cooler...im on my third one...smell is intermittent...do you occasionaly get a light oil smell as well? I would have them check your coolant thorougly...i routinely find tiny bits of undispersed oil in it...but they always say its just not there...and wont fix it...it not like it was prior to getting a new oil cooler...but still occasional smell during hot weather and such...

Default you know, its guys like you that love the car but hate the dealers etc.....

imagine if you just liked the car for a daily driver and had to put up with this? What would be the incentive to keep it or buy another Audi?

<shaking head in disgust>
