sure it will not go into production as is, but why are they making the bug look more and more TT-like?
It wouldnt suprise me if the high end model gets the 250hpp FSI powerplant, I guess they could toss in haldex for good measure.

oh by the way, it still looks horrid! =)<ul><li><a href="http://www.vwvortex.com/artman/publish/volkswagen_news/article_1152.shtml">http://www.vwvortex.com/artman/publish/volkswagen_news/article_1152.shtml</a></li></ul>

Saw the new Jetta today on television for the first time. . . that + the new grill incorporation into the TT is slowly erroding any faith I had in their stellar design team. The Jetta looks like a Corolla-ish Japanese export and the new TT. . . don't even want to get started.

But it would be cool if Audi did a speedster variant of the TTR. There are design sketches of such a creature in the TT Story book.

The new Audis however (B7 A4 and S4, S3, C6 A6, A8 W12 and SWB) all looked fantastic. The fishmouth works better in person than in pics. The funky shape to the bottom of the B7 headlights is exagerated in the pics and is much more flush in person. It does however give the A4 a separate head-on identity from the A6 which it would have been missing otherwise. The A8s are just stunning, such a beautiful design.
