Default Gear Oil Stats - Now Who's Better

I got these stats from each manufactures website. Based on the data, Redline is the best product, however many TTers still choose Amsoil. Any reasons why?

Amsoil 75W-90
kinematic viscosity @ 100C, cSt (ASTM D-445) = 16
kinematic viscosity @ 40C, cSt (ASTM D-445) = 129.0
viscosity index 132

Mobil 1 75W-90
kinematic viscosity @ 100C, cSt (ASTM D-445) = 15.2
kinematic viscosity @ 40C, cSt (ASTM D-445) = 106.0
viscosity index 150

Redline 75W-90
kinematic viscosity @ 100C, cSt (ASTM D-445) = 16.4
kinematic viscosity @ 40C, cSt (ASTM D-445) = 115.0
viscosity index 155

Default I've Tried GM, believe it or not

Okay this was done in my 98 civic, so forgive me if this information is stupid and n00blike. I was recommended the GM friction modified synchromesh transmission fluid, so i forked over the 20 bucks for a quart (ouch) and tried it out, shifted like butter, brought my synchros way back too. I'd highly recommend it for fast shifting people, even though it's from GM, i was skeptical too, and was very pleased in the end.
