Default your help needed please! I'm planning to attend one of those Audi driving school...

I know they rent a helmet... but If I want one where can I get one? Any recommendations? I would like to actually try them on before I purchase it since I got such a big head. I have no clue at all as to where to go and try them...

Are there anything else should I be considering for those types of event as I suspect that I am going to be addicted... Thank you for helping a green pea. =D

Default Any motorcyle dealer would be a source for a helmet....

I don't know if there is a difference between those and what you'd wear on the track in a car.
Hope this helps.

Default Well...once you find your size @ a motorcycle dealer there are several places online to order them.

I bought mine @ soloracer.com. You might also try racerwholesale.com

Enjoy!

In case you get addicted, try Solo 2.

Default Track Helmets must be SNELL Approved. Motorcycle only DOT

SNELL M or SA (previous 3 ratings, currently 2000, 1995 & 1990) for SCCA Solo stuff.

So which one should I go for; M2000 or SA2000? Does it matter?

You will pay a premium for an SA2000 - get a cheap M if all you want is to be legal.
