Default Your Input Please

I'm thinking about leasing a new TT to add to my collection, probably the coupe for more storage area. But, I'm debating between the 180 Vs the 225 model. I like the power better of the 225 but don't know if I can justify the price difference.
Anybody have picture of their TT in Raven Black and if so how is diiference between black and this colour?
Please post your pictures!

I greaty appreciate your comments, a TT owner wannabee

Default Raven black is the slower of the two. Of course, everything is slower than the silver ones

Do the 225 if you can. However, if storage is REALLY important, the 180 FW coupe will give you a bit more storage area in the trunk (quattro takes up more room).

Either way, you can't loose.

Default ? TT Vs Honda S2000

Anybody compared the TT to the Honda S2000.
I know you can't compare german enginering to the Japanese, but price wise and drive wise they are very compatible.

Default The Raven Black paint is a Pearl effect paint, the Brilliant Black is just black paint . . .

the Raven in certain lighting conditions, most of them, looks brown because of the different metal flakes in the paint.

The Brilliant Black paint is a true black, if you want a black car, then get it in Brilliant Black.

As to the differences between the TT and the S2000? The cars don't even compare. The S2000 is a throw back to small British sportscars. Small, cramped, no room to fit if you are over 6'0". The engine winds to 9,000 and needs to be above 7,500 to get the car to move fast. The interior is nothing to write home about. The S2000 is a blast to drive, handles like it is on rails. Setup properly it is one of the best handling cars on the planet. It weighs nothing.

The TT, any TT is a fat pig of a car and is not in the same style of car as the S2000. The TT has lots of room for the driver and passenger, you can bring stuff with you, even in the TTR's. The TT does not need to be wound out to redline to get it to perform. The S2000 is a Rwd car, the TT is either Fwd or quattro. To me the TT looks beautiful and the S2000 looks like a copy of quite a few cars on the road.

It comes down to what you want the car for. How much you plan on driving it. The TT can be driven cross country in comfort, I don't think you would be very comfortable driving an S2000 on long trips.

Oh, get the 225 and save your pennies, a better car to get than the 180. This is coming from a 180 owner

Default Thanks Larry!, I agree .

Thanks Larry,

I'm 6'2 and I want the car to be comfortable and fast and still be able to get two golfbags and an overnight bag to fit. The s2000 doesn't do much for me styling wise, it looks to much like a miata. The s2000 in my eyes doesn't seem like an everyday car.\
I appreciate your advice.
