zimmerman cross-drilled rotors

Anyone out there experienced rotor failure with Zimmerman cross-drilled rotors on a TT Quattro Coupe? What happened? I had one blow up at the track and the other one is stress cracked. I'm wondering if this is happening more often.

that happens with drilled rotors, unfortunately

drilled rotors is not now, nor have they ever been a paying advertiser, please do not speak of them!

Hmm...slotted is preferable to drilled for just this reason, I fear.
