Default Zimmerman vs. Brembo Rotors?

I'm doing a total brake swap out on my '01 TT180QC next weekend and I have decided to use Porterfield RS4 pads based on Mr. Bipes input.

Can anyone using or familiar with differences between Zimm and Brembo rotors please comment. Thanks for the input.

Default Can't comment on the Brembo.I have Zimmermans on about a month now...

no problems.Definitely perform & look better than oem & alot less dust.I went w/ the mintex pads because I thought the sensor plug was going to be an issue but it wasn't in my case.Only thing is get coated (rust resistant) rotors because they'll rust quickly.IMO

Default I have Zimmerman cross-drilled's on the rear.....

they've been great for the few thousand miles. Less brake dust I think (my wheels on back don't seem to get dirty as fast)... and pretty cheap. ECS for $120 I think, I got em local for $150. Next is the fronts!

Default Oddly, I have...at the same time...

See my sig, I bought ECS's front & rear slotted/plated rotors. It turns out the rears are Zimmermans & the fronts Brembos. I probably have 5-6000 miles on them (since before TT East) & they seem to be wearing just fine. Though I've only worked em hard a little...Blue Ridge Parkway on the way to TTEast & one of Fergs driving courses, but it was my boyfriend driving @ the course, so I'm not sure how tortured they got. No autocross this year.

Default I have Brembo Sport Cross Drilled up front (180TTQC) they are cadmium plated as well..>

Brembo doesn't make rear discs for the 180TTQs, the original disc is from Ate. Your options are Zimmerman cross drilled in the rear or ECS Slotted and or Dimpled in the rear.. I'm leaning toward getting the Zimmermans..

Or you can get Brembo Sport Slotted in the front and the ECS Slotted rears..

ECS just uses Zimmermans (rear) & Brembos (front) anyway. They just slot & plate them.
