0-60 5.00 sec in TT-S Roadster
Was able to get my hands on another TT-S press car. ran it at 79 degrees L.A. weather. did a 5.00 but couldn't repeat it. did a 5.2, 5.3 but it was already up to 82 degrees and the car was of course MUCH warmer already.
1/4 mile was 13.75 @ 105mph
This was all done with a G-tech
For comparison, on SAME stretch of road i've done:
0-60 5.1 stock '04 S4 6spd
0-60 4.9 ALL bolt ons & GIAC '04 S4 6spd
1/4 of 13.6 @ 105
0-60 5.66 Allroad tip GIAC
1/4 of 13.99 @ 103
0-60 5.8 '02 TT coupe 225 w/ GIAC,exh,intak,fmic
1/4 of 13.87 @ 105.6 w/ race gas
0-60 5.00 stgIII '02 TT 225 coupe on 91 370hp
1/4 of 13.3 @ 112.7 mph
As you can see, compared to my stgIII car, the TT-S is KILLING me in shift time. my launch is much better but the shifts have me tieing the 0-60. A TT-S will EASILY be sub 5 sec. AGAIN, if you could get the TT-S launch control to allow 5k it'd be WAY, WAY better for numbers.
The car also KILLED my GIAC, intake, FMIC, Exh run........even beat me when i had 100 octane! the shifting of the car balances the power SO, SO well it really shows in the numbers.

Here's the power to the front wheels

i've not run the 1/4 mile on this gas yet. i also don't really bash on my tranny since i've already had it out for syncro issues PRE stgIII. so on 91 the 13.3 would EASILY drop looking at my 113 trap.

I drove a TTS Coupe at TT-West very sweet
right from the factory it puts the power right down to the wheels, great handling, and good gas mileage RELIABLE!
As much as I liked it, I couldn't swap, I like my six speed even though I realize I am slower than the computer.

Another question for you....
can you check your engine bay and see if the TTS intake will work on the TT? I would think that they are using a better flowing one than on the TT. Thanks.
