I do drive hard.
Seeing that I am 70 miles away from my first service interval.
A: Top off oil myself.
B: Go to Jiffy Lube etc.
C: Schedule my first service this week and deal with it then?
The oil cap says Castrol on it..... Ive always used Mobil. I'm too lazy to go down to the car and RTFM so what weight Castrol for Chicago, now, its fall.....
Thanks crew.

When my low oil light comeson it is really low - don't risk runninig dry. Driving with a quart of non-dealer spec oil mixed in will not hurt anything. I found in the first 10,000 miles I had to add oil a couple of times. Not at 20K and don't seem to be burning any anymore.

Yes, I called and have a appointment at 7AM on Monday for the first 5K service.
Service manager said if it made me feel better to add a quart of Castrol or Mobil 5w40, but otherwise I'm fine for Monday.
I'll grab a quart this afternoon when I go wash the car.
Thank you for responding.
Cheers crew.

Drove to get gas as I was low, checked the dip stick while I was there, it read normal (Max) ..... I turned the car back on, the warning has not come back since....
I'll just wait till Monday when I have service I guess.
Odd.
Maybe the dip stick was causing a false reading and my looking at it seated it back securely, removed the fault code?
My only guess.

They rotated the tires and changed the oil and filter, all same day, Audi loaner, I can't complain.
They did say that future tire rotations are not "covered"..... whatever, I can rotate tires myself really.
Otherwise Audi Care covered the service on mah lease.
Cheers.
