Default 4.86 0-60, 13.62 @ 106.00 mph in TT-S Coupe!

finally got my hands on a coupe version of this great car to test. 4.86 was best 0-60, and unfortunately it hit 4.92 on it's way to it's 1/4 mile time which was done about 3 mins after the 4.86 was ran. fairly consistent though! if the damn car would launch higher and not bog a hair on the launch it'd be an easy 4.5! Audi is quite concervative with the rpm it lets the car launch at.

that HPA item would be great on this otherwise stock car!

Also here is a link on the Roadster for comparison.

https://forums.audiworld.com/tt2/msgs/37054.phtml</a

Just add the HPA tranny software and it'll do that!

And if you do that and then get it chipped where would the time be?

Default what did you use to test it? a Gtech?

if so...then consider those numbers invalid

either way, i just found out that the new 370z does 0-60 in 4.6 seconds.....STOCK, while pulling a 0.99g on the skidpad. for $30k. ouch.

yeah yeah i know...it's just a ****e Nissan, i agree...but very very VERY fast and will outperform a TTS.

Default Road and Track (or C&D) did mid 5s and slower 1/4.....this month

I'm VERY surprised at how slow the new Z is w/ supposed 330hp. maybe it's 'cause horses are smaller in Japan R&D.

seriously, that car is of course cheaper, but so will be the new Camaro. there's always faster, cheaply made cars out there than any Audi.

It was tested on a G-tech, but like before i've tested ALL my posted numbers w/ the same G-tech at the same spot of road. so the exact numbers you can say what you want but for a comparison, the S6 ran the same 1/4 mile and the S4 4.2 ran a 5.1 0-60 in a stick i launched at 5k!

Default Basically gives the ability to have the RPM of the launch raised!

so yeah, with software in tranny and ECU you get a quick car! it'll only get so low due to it being in 3rd gear by 60.

Default Also the Z is in 2nd to 60 instead of 3rd for the TT. More shifts = slower time

I'd put money on the fact that a side by side roll on would have the TT-S pull on the Z!

Default You're gonna cost me money I fear :-) "Must Resist"

We, over in the MK1 forum are the ones who will be replacing our beloved 225s as they get old and troublesome. TTS is looking better and better. Still long for a manual trans however, despite the quick acceleration times.

Quick Reply: 4.86 0-60, 13.62 @ 106.00 mph in TT-S Coupe!
