Default After 3+ month wait...hurts to walk away. Dealer didn't want to budge of MSRP.

Well, waited since late June and car is finally at the dealer ready for me. I have heard of many reasons to make money but not one that says ordered cars sell for list price. I know a few $$ here and there isn't a big problem but I would think the dealer would show some willingless to sell me the car I ordered and that something off MSRP is quite reasonable.

Now will go look for another dealer and start all over. Maybe hold off and get something else who knows...S5 is looking hot.

Default WHY didn't you get that taken care of BEFORE you ordered your car?

That is something you should have had a written agreement on with the dealer before you ordered your car.

So you're saying you waited till you car came in and then told them you wanted $$ off of MSRP?

If this was the case, you suck at car buying/negotiating. The dealer has no reason to sell you the car at a discount after the fact.

Default not quite. They wouldn't negotiate before and led me to believe we will at delivery.

I didnt sign or put a deposit so having said that they made it seem like it was up for negotiations. I was willing to seal everything in back in June.

Maybe partly miscommunication partly them wanting the most $$ out of it, either way I'm not paying msrp when every dealership is willing to discount.

Default Naive on your part...shame on them.

Car buying 101: what ever isn't in writing, doesn't count. Run, do not walk away from that dealer. Nothing lost, its good you found out now what type of dealer that was, rather than when you need something from them.

If ordering they think they have you and dont like to work around the MSRP. Find a dealor that has sone on the lot and he may work more so he doesnt have to keep paying for it.
