Another VCDS enabled 09 TTS hidden menu - DRL
Alright, this may only be a hidden menu in countries where DRL's are mandatory by law (Canada for one) and they don't want you to be able to turn them off, but I discovered it last night while playing with the VCDS.
In controller 9-Cent. Elect. using the long code helper and selecting Byte 22 you want to make sure Bit 1 (Daytime Running Lights (DRL) switchable via Menu) is checked.
Once you have exited the long code helper and made this change, go into the DIS. Scroll through with the button on the bottom of the windshield wiper stalk and go to "Set" and choose "Lights".
From "Lights" choose "Exterior Lights".
From "Exterior Lights" choose "Daytime lights".
In "Daytime lights" choose the checked "On" to uncheck and turn of the DRL. Choose "On" again to check it off and turn on the DRL.
Now remember, it's always safer to drive with your DRL's on...not to mention it looks damn good if they are LED!
