Default any other TTS owners have their front lower air intake / fog light grill covers fall off?

one completely disappeared, and other looked like it was pretty flimsily attached so I took it off before it suffered the same fate.

suffice it to say that I didn't expect to have this issue on a brand new car...

Default Wow... nope, mine are on really good... they don't move at all.

I hand wash my car weekly and hand dry it with towels so I would know if they were loose.

Default Bizarre. I have had mine on and off a couple of times and they are still super secure.

I'm sure your dealer will replace it/them.

Were you able to get this fixed? I'm having the same problem? Did Audi pay for it or was it out of pocket?

Default no luck getting the dealer to pay for it

they hinted they might after inspecting, but it would have been super inconvenient to make the trip for a roll of the dice. i went ahead and purchased the grill cover for about $80 from another dealer, and also had them bolt it in with two screws in each grill.

Default update

just an update on my fallen grill....got it replaced and didn't pay anything. imo, nothing should be falling off a $50k, well-engineered vehicle in the first 3 weeks after pick up...potholes or not. but the ultimate reasoning was that the "manufacturer" didn't screw on securely.

thanks for letting me know.

i decided to call Audi USA customer service and see if they can help me get this reimbursed. it's only $80 so it's more of a principle thing. i've also asked them to help me try to improve the bluetooth/iPhone 3G call quality on my vehicle. we'll see what happens.
