Default Anyone been able to connect Android to play music via Bluetooth

Just wondering if anyone has been able to connect Android Phone to play music via Bluetooth (not using AMI/MMI)with their Audi I heard some rumors of an Android App that could do that, I searched and have not found anything. If anyone know how to do this please reply.

Thanks

I'd be interested in knowing that as well. We did manage to connect our Android phone via bluetooth to make calls.

I heard there is a cable you can get to convert the ipod -> android, but not sure if it actually works or if anyone has used it.

Actually... I just found this link!

http://www.iamaudi.com/audi-music-in...tooth-adapter/

I'm hoping that means that ANY device can connect via bluetooth. However, not sure if this is extra to buy or it comes with the 2012.

Can anyone confirm that this works with the Mk2 TT? The manual references MMI so does it matter if the car has Nav or not?

I can't seem to get voice to come from the bluetooth system. How were you able to get it working or did it pair correctly right out of the box?
My audi tt 08 can connect and it pairs automatically, however, it's as if it goes into mute mode and they cannot hear me at all whether i use the wheel buttons or the phone to answer.

My guess it my phone is not compatible as its an HTC Hero from Sprint but there is certainly a dearth of info online regarding bluetooth problems so it's hard ot find an answer to my problem.

*UPDATE*
So it would appear that after reviewing other posts that my phone was actually kicking into mute mode when I connected it. Although my HTC hero is not listed as compatible I AM able to connect and now use my BT connection. I don't get the voice prompts or use commands but at least my phone will pickup and dial out and they can hear me. Now to find one that is 100% compatible for voice etc. Anyone out there who can recommend a good smartphone that works 100%?

hmmm.. I have an HTC EVO 3D but have not purchased the bluetooth adapter. It is something I came across over the internet and still contemplating if I should get it or not.

Did you get yours directly through Audi or 3rd party?

I have iPhone and also have S7 edge. Most of the time I use my s7 to stream music wirelessly using my viseeo WMA3000A connected to my car. I get very good sound quality using this adapter, I have no issues so far.
