hey guys new to the forum.

looking to get the apr tune for my 08 tt 2.0T. currently only upgrades to car is a evoms cai. looking for any insight on the tune. any issues caused by the tune, like codes etc.. how reliable is the car after the tune. is the power difference like night and day like some people say it is? will a blow off valve be required after the tune because of the increase in hp?

any insight at all is appreciated.

Driving to APR tomorrow to get my 3rd TT (2nd TTS)flashed. Had no problems and the performance difference is like night and day. The 0-60 went from 4.9 to 4.2 - nuff said.

mike you get any codes thrown? any problems at all? did you get a blow off valve with it? is a bov required when adding this much power. i dont have a tts i got just the 2.0T. so 200hp i believe stock plus a few more i got from the evoms intake. so give or take 255hp after apr tune. is that enough for a bov to be needed.

No codes, problems or bov with my application. Check with APR as to your specific application - ask for Chris.

from what i read the stock diverter valve on the tt is a weak pastic diaphram one. the stock diverter wont handle the increase in boost. which is why a forge diverter valve is a must.

How many programs were you able to load on the TTS? Have read on other forums that currently it is only capable of one?

WOW 4.2 that is what i get if i tune my TT RS to stage 3 bhp 400+
Normally it only goes to 0-62 in 4.6sec but with stage 3 4.2 sec
So you got some super car! have fun with it :P

If you had to get a TT RS to get this kind of performance, you paid too much. :-)

Mike, that is some rocking performance! Is that with the APR tune alone, or any other mods? Which tune did you get - 91, 93, or ...?

I have the 93 octane tune and I'm getting the same numbers with just the APR stg 1, no other mods.
