Default Audi 7 spoke turbine wheels w/run-flats are PORKY

Picked up my wheel / tire set today.

A wheel/tire weighed in at 58.25 pounds.
Tire Rack says my Pirelli PZero Nero M+S 245/40 18 weighs 26 pounds, so that puts the wheel at just over 32 pounds. OUCH.

Same here, nothing exists on the market as far as I can see...

FYI, 265/35 R18 Bridgestone RE-01R's BARELY fit on these rims. Just a head's up for those that are tire shopping!

Default You're the man! Appreciate you running through the time to do that and confirms my suspicion. :)

On the upside anyone looking at aftermarket wheels will most likely pick up very large performance benefits in handling even with relatively inexpensive wheels.

IE 18x8.5 rs4 replicas weight in at 25 lbs.

They are mounted on the 10 spoke 18X9's but are going on the car in about an hour....

I have a feeling this is going to be VERY grippy

Yes, the bi-colour ones... VERY heavy, but should hold up over potholes quite well...

It's amazing that an 18 lb wheel like the OZ Ultraleggera's will take off ~50 lbs of unsprung weight. That's a major gain in cornering!

Any concern about the wheel gap? 265/35/18 = 25.3" diameter, 245/40/18=!25.7 d, 255/35/19=~26 d
