Default Audi Aftermarket Spoiler

I purchased the spoiler from Audi that is more aggressive and doesn't go up and down, and on the installation paper it talked about telling your service advisor to turn off the light. Does anybody know the specific instructions on how to do this?

There has been some question as to what method should be used to avoid future problems. IF anyone knows specifics regarding this, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Default How to turn off spoiler light in TT Mk2

Nobody answered my thread so I'm assuming nobody knew, but Ryan Struse over at Mission Viejo Audi helped me out and figured it out so I'll post it so it will be searchable in the future:

Change the long coding in comfort control mode as follows:

3. Byte
Change function 1 to 0.

That fixed it If any of you live over near Mission Viejo, see Ryan, he did an awesome job on the TT and figuring out some issues

Default I bought the S-line spoiler, it doesn't go up and down

The spoiler I bought stays up, so the light goes on every time "it should" go up or down (when I go past 75 or when I come to a stop light). It was annoying, so if anyone else gets that spoiler in the future they'll know what to do.

Default Re: Audi Aftermarket Spoiler

Since you buy this from Audi can you order it already painted to match your car, or does it come primered and you have to paint it? How much was it? Thanks

Default I bought it and painted it, it was like $500 I think

I bought it 6 months ago so I don't remember exactly.
