I just picked up my new 2.0T coupe today. It has navigation with Ipod integration. Should there be any cables or adapters in the glove box that come with the car? - if so they seem to be missing.

You should have gotten a small plastic bag (mine was in glove compartment)containing a few pieces of plastic. They make two brackets, one that fits an ipod and the other for an ipod mini.
Your ipod goes into the bracket, which fits into the adapter in the glove box. The purpose of the bracket is to hold the ipod snuggly into the adapter. It works very well.

Just grab some SD cards and load them up with MP3s in a useful folder structure (I do Artist Name / Album Name / Song Name).

Just plug it in, there should be a bunch of plastic pieces in a little bag somewhere to form a tray for various sized ipods

I eventually went with the SD cards. The whole ipod integration is a sham that Audi refuses to do anything about - too bad when the rest of the car is so great.
