Default Audi TT Radio Removal (2008)

I have a 2008 Audi TT Roadster. It has the radio with the navigation option.

I need to remove the radio and can see the slots to insert the tools, but I can not find a source for the tools. All the sources I find are for older models. Google searches are tedious because it turns up the older model.

Crutchfield lists my year, but it is not clear whether it fits my car because they list two options: a) bose, b) non-bose. They only carry non-bose and I don't know what I have.

Where can I buy the tools such that the description of what I am buying exactly matches my car?

Although not important for this question: I am removing the radio to fix a fan noise problem.

I heard from ttworld. Two pair of these will work as well:

I ended up getting the shwaben kit from ECS. Was looking to upgrade the iPod interface and needed to pull the radio and play with the harness. That project was more than I bargained for and I ended up with the Tune 2 Air, but the radio tools worked well while I was messing around.

The ones I bought from Amazon worked fine. They are a bit flimsy, but they were sturdy enough to work. I pulled the radio, but no longer hear the fan noise.

Isn't that always the way? The mere thought, never mind the action of troubleshooting something causes the gremlins to go hide.
