hello everyone,

I recently bought a 2009 audi tts. I have the 18 inch stock wheels on it. my question is..."will the 19 inch audi r8 wheels fit on my tts?" im pretty sure the rear ones won't fit, but will the front ones fit? has anyone attempted this with their tt? if so, did you succeed or fail? i would really love to know. thank you for your help.

sorry i forgot to mention that i am not asking if reproduction r8 wheels will fit on my car. i am asking if the real OEM r8 wheels will fit on my car. thanks again.

My stock 19's are 9 x 19, ET 52 and 5 x 112. I dunno what the R8's are.

The change in offset suggests that the wheels will stick out an extra 4mm, which will actually flush the wheels up, especially in the front. The downside is that your TTS wheels are 9" wide, so you might feel a bit of a difference. The bigger downside is the price. I hear the OEM's are bloody expensive!

Quite true on the high cost of OEM. I am looking at repro R8 wheels for winter use. I will use the same 18x8. Has anyone any experience with the company, OE Wheels LLC in Florida? Thanks.

According to Achtuning the OEM R8 wheels are 19x8.5" ET42 and fit the TT but they are close to $1k-each!. They also carry Hartmann replicas which are good quality for about $1k-set.

To Nobmre, I've heard some pretty bad feedback on oewheels....
