cripes....local sales guy I know at Audi got it going for me, like this was ridiculous. He did something with the mode button that wasn't even referenced in the user manual, and I also had played with that same button before as I was experimenting and got nothing out of it....thinking the manual was vague also.

Give me a break, am I a total dope???

LOL....I have to say, I've worked for a german company for 22 years, and this sounds like just what I'm used to.....ie, the attitude on directions goes like this....if you can't figure out what we wrote, you must be a dope and don't deserve to drive our beautiful machine.

In my wife's volvo, the owners manual is written for dopes specifically! Easy to understand, step by step, plain english. Gotta hand it to the swedes, too bad they can't cut a profit!

Hey Regina....thanks alot for this help. I bought the parts and installed today, huge improvement, I can actually store something there now! Price has doubled though, each part was $22 through Audi....but worth it.
