DIY Service Indicator reset?

Searched and couldn't find an answer to this: The dealer just did the 5k first service on my car, but didn't reset the service indicator.
I don't want to trek back to the dealer to reset it. Is this something I can do myself without some sort of VAG com box? The manual talks about reseting the oil change indicator -- and I did that -- but I can't get the service due one to reset.
Help!

I have only done it with VAG COM.
Sounds like your dealer is far away. You could just live with it until your 10K oil change - there's no way I would wait until 15k which is what Audi recommends. The TFSI engine is very susceptible to carbon deposits on the valves, which may be worsened by 10K oil change intervals. Just my $0.02.
