Does anyone know for 100% that the TTS is chain driven?

One on the UK forum just had a TTS Dynoed and reports that the TTS is belt driven? I find it odd as everything else I have heard is that it's chain... I couldn't find any official info... I hope we weren't just assuming it was chain because of the normal 2.0T is? This all seems odd!

engine. It's easy to tell - if the engine doesn't have the oil filter on the top with the dipstick to it's left - it's the old engine architecture.

Audi was sued to many times they had to dump the belt.
No way,, not in "ANY" of the new Audi's running the 2.0 TFSI's.<ul><li><a href="http://www.technologynewsdaily.com/node/9764">this is what's in the new TTS</a></li></ul>

The TTS engine has a Timing Belt - end of discussion. The new CCTA engine has a Timing Chain and is completely different in almost everyway. It is also offered in two variants - the transverse version does not have the variable valve lift - and the longitudinal engines do - hence the difference in power ratings for the TT, VW GTI/Jetta etc. and the B8 A4.
